We are a premium halal butcher delivering only the finest cuts of fresh meats, charcuterie and deli products across the UK — available to order online or visit us at our Reading store (Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 46–48 Portman Road, Reading, RG30 1EA).

All our products are 100% halal, tayyib and meticulously sourced, with animals ethically reared, hormone and antibiotic-free, and accredited/inspected by recognised halal certification bodies. Our goal is simple: to bring halal into the 21st century and make buying high‑quality halal meat as easy as a few clicks from home.

As Muslims ourselves, we know the questions and frustrations that come with buying halal meat – “Is this really halal and traceable?”, “Was the animal treated well?” “Why is the quality inconsistent?” “Why is it so inconvenient and not eco‑friendly?” Saffron Alley was built to solve exactly these problems.
