Paying should be the easiest part of dinner. Here's every way to pay, how codes work, and what to do in the rare moment one misbehaves.
Ways to pay. We accept all major payment methods at checkout:
- Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express
- Express wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay
- PayPal
Your payment is processed securely through Shopify's encrypted checkout — we never see or store your card details. You're charged when you place your order.
Using a discount code. Enter your code in the discount code box at checkout (on mobile, you may need to tap to expand the order summary to reveal it) and press apply — your total updates instantly, before you pay. Codes can't be applied after an order is placed, so do double‑check the total before confirming.
Code not working? The 30‑second checklist:
- Spelling & spaces — codes are exact; copy‑paste beats typing.
- Expiry — promotional codes have end dates.
- Minimum spend — some codes require a qualifying basket.
- Exclusions — some codes exclude sale items or specific ranges.
- One code per order — discount codes can't be combined.
Still stuck with a code you believe is valid? Contact us with the code and a screenshot, and we'll put it right. If you received the code in one of our emails, please share that promotional email along with your screenshot so our team can check it for you — we'll look into it and get back to you.
Two things that need no code at all. Free standard weekday delivery on orders over £40 applies automatically. And our best offers go to our newsletter first — sign up at the bottom of any page.
Gift cards. We don't currently sell gift cards, but our gift hampers deliver the same joy with rather more flavour."

- Is it safe to pay on your site? Yes — checkout is fully encrypted and PCI‑compliant via Shopify; we never see your card number.
- My code expired yesterday — can you still honour it? Please get in touch with your team, and we’ll look into it for you.
- Can I pay over the phone? We generally encourage customers to place orders and make payments securely through our website.
