Our raw honeys are among the most treasured foods we offer — harvested traditionally in Yemen and Saudi Arabia, 100% raw and organic. Here's how to choose between them.
Sidr honey — the legend. Gathered from the blossom of the Sidr (lote) tree, prized for centuries for its rich, complex flavour and revered status. Our range includes classic Yemeni Sidr and the exceptional Royal Sidr Winter Harvest with Royal Jelly (A+ grade) — the connoisseur's choice.
Samar honey — deep and robust. A darker, bolder Yemeni honey with a strong, distinctive character for those who love an intense, full honey.
Black Seed honey — raw honey with the prized warmth of black seed (nigella sativa), a traditional favourite.
Taif Rose honey — delicate and floral, carrying the famous Taif rose; elegant and aromatic.
How to choose. New to premium honey? The Raw Honey Mini Trio is the perfect tasting flight. A meaningful gift? The Nectar of Yemen hamper. For the purest indulgence, Royal Sidr.
Caring for raw honey. Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Natural crystallisation over time is a sign of real, raw honey — gently warm the jar in warm water to return it to liquid; never microwave, which harms raw honey's natural goodness. Raw honey keeps beautifully for a very long time. Confirm best‑before guidance per label.
A gentle note. Raw honey shouldn't be given to infants under 12 months.
FAQs
- Why is Sidr honey so prized (and priced)? Sidr blossom is seasonal and limited; the harvest is traditional and labour‑intensive — genuine Sidr is rare, which its flavour and reputation reflect.
- My honey has crystallised — is it off? Not at all — it's proof it's raw. Warm the jar gently in warm water.
- Is it really raw and unprocessed? Yes — 100% raw and organic, unpasteurised.
