Halal is not a label we print; it is an amanah — a trust from Allah ﷻ — and it governs every supplier we choose. Every product we sell is halal, certified, and inspected by recognised institutions. We want you to know which body stands behind each category.
Beef. Our fresh beef is sourced from Ireland, where cattle are traditionally reared with acres to roam and are exclusively grass‑fed. The cattle are non-stunned and are hand‑slaughtered by a Muslim. Certified by the BHC (Bray Halal Centre).
Lamb. Our free‑range lamb comes from Ireland and England, purely grass‑fed, raised without growth‑promoting hormones. Lambs are non-stunned and hand‑slaughtered by a Muslim. Certified by the HFA (Halal Food Authority).
Poultry. Our birds are reared in spacious barns — regular poultry in the Netherlands, corn‑fed from France, baby chickens from Spain, and fully organic certified free‑range chickens from Wales. They are reversibly stunned prior to hand‑slaughter by a Muslim, meaning the bird is unconscious but fully alive at the point of slaughter. Certified by HQC & HFA.
Deli & charcuterie. Our artisanal deli products are imported from specialist producers and are halal‑certified by official Islamic authorities in each country of origin. All beef deli items come from unstunned, hand‑slaughtered cattle; all poultry deli items from reversibly stunned, hand‑slaughtered birds.
