Feel like the meat you received isn’t cut or trimmed as neatly as you expected? Because our products are hand‑butchered, there can be some natural variation – but you shouldn’t receive something that feels unusable.
What counts as “bad cuts” or poor trim
You might notice:
- Very uneven or inconsistent pieces within the same pack
- More off‑cuts or “scraps” than you’d reasonably expect for that product
- Large sections of gristle or connective tissue that aren’t described in the product listing
Some variation is normal, but you shouldn’t feel like a large part of what you paid for is not fit for use.
What’s normal vs not
- A small amount of trimming needed at home (for example, a little excess fat or sinew) is common with butchered meat
- Excessive amounts of hard fat, gristle, or unusable off‑cuts compared to what’s shown or described on our site is not what we aim to deliver
If your pack feels very different from what our product images and description suggest, let us know.
How we’ll help
Once we’ve assessed your photos and order details:
- We may provide guidance on what’s considered normal for that cut
- If the cutting or trimming falls below our standard, we’ll arrange an appropriate resolution.
Feedback like this helps us maintain consistent cutting standards and training for our butchers.
