Cooked your meat and felt the quality just wasn’t what you expected? We want every order to meet a high standard, so we must hear about it when it doesn’t.
What “quality issues” can look like
You might notice:
- Tough or chewy texture, even when cooked correctly
- Lots of gristle or connective tissue in a cut that should be relatively tender
- An unusually watery, mushy or dry result compared to what you’d expect for that product
Some natural variation is normal, but you shouldn’t feel you didn’t get the quality you paid for.
Things that can affect eating quality
A few factors can influence how a cut turns out:
- How long was the meat stored, and at what temperature, before cooking
- How it was cooked (for example, time, temperature, and method suited to that cut)
- The natural characteristics of the specific cut (for example, slow‑cook vs quick‑cook)
Even taking these into account, if the result felt unusually poor, we still want to know.
How we’ll help
Once we’ve reviewed your information:
- We’ll explain what’s normal for that cut and whether your experience falls outside that
- Where the quality clearly isn’t up to standard, we’ll arrange a suitable resolution.
Your feedback allows us to monitor consistency and keep raising our standards.
